25 June–02 July 2016, Kiten, Bulgaria
The summer school “The idea of Europe and its borders in social sciences and the humanities” is carried out within the framework of the project “Jean Monnet Network European Identity, Culture, Exchanges and Multilingualism (EUROMEC)”. The Jean Monnet Network brings together Jean Monnet Chairs in the area of European identity, culture, European citizenship, exchanges and multilingualism. The core target groups of the Network are young researchers (doctorate students, potential doctorate students and young researchers who have obtained a PhD degree in the past 5 years). Their profile is not limited to EU Studies.
The programme is designed for very good MA students and Phd students, and will consist of lectures, seminars, workshops and group research projects as well as tailor-made feedback sessions during which students will discuss their theses. The detailed programme will be announced soon.
Special emphasis will be given to supporting participants’ projects. Each participant will give a short presentation on a chosen topic related to the subject of his/her thesis which will then be discussed with other participants and lecturers.
